The average "fresh" vegetable in a Pune supermarket is 4 to 9 days old — picked unripe, chilled, trucked, and shelved. We built MITTI to collapse that whole chain into a single morning.
Forty smallholder farms — Mulshi, Velhe, Maval, Khed, Junnar, Shirur — farm the old way: open-pollinated desi seed, jeevamrut instead of urea, and harvests timed to the day you eat, not the day it ships. The collective is farmer-owned; 72 paise of every rupee you spend goes back to the farm gate.
